Panasonic

Panasonic Electric Works UK Ltd began trading in 1982 when the company was known as SDS-Relais Ltd. In the early 1990s the, until then, independent SDS-Relais became an integral member of the Matsushita Electric Works (MEW) group. In former times the Company traded using different brand names: SDS-Relais; National; Aromat and NAiS. The ever growing demands from global customers resulted in even closer collaboration with giant Matsushita Electric Industrial of Japan, which is a household name for a huge range of consumer and industrial products and equipment. The primary brand name of the group for every product except sensing and laser devices became Panasonic in 2004. Because of the outstanding reputation of the Sunx brand, with a diverse range of customers globally, it made sense to continue promoting such devices and systems solely under the Sunx brand name, since, to many people still, SUNX = SENSE.
